The Balanced Man Scholarship at Northeastern University recognizes incoming male-identifying students who embody Sigma Phi Epsilon’s core philosophy of a Sound Mind and Sound Body. Designed to celebrate well-rounded leaders who demonstrate excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and community involvement, this award supports outstanding Huskies as they make their transition to life on campus. We believe in empowering students who strive for continuous personal growth and drive positive change around them. Applying for or receiving the scholarship carries no obligation to join SigEp.

Selected finalists will be invited to an exclusive banquet hosted by Northeastern SigEp to celebrate their achievements. At the event, four winners will each be awarded a $500 scholarship—funding that can be used flexibly to cover books for the semester, seed an upcoming startup, gear up with athletic equipment, or support whatever personal passion drives their ambition.
